The Twentynine Palms Visitor Center and art gallery has put out a call for art for its next exhibition, “Desert Oasis: Wisdom in the Water.” Artists should deliver their artwork Friday, June 24, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to the Twentynine Palms visitor center and art gallery in downtown Twentynine Palms. The exhibition will be on display from July 1 through September 30. An opening art reception is planned for July 1, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Music and refreshments will be available. Artwork may be paintings, mixed media, photography, or three-dimensional work, and should reflect the theme of celebrating the California desert wilderness.
