Military veterans will be honored this weekend in Twentynine Palms. The City’s Veteran’s Day event will be held on Saturday (November 11) at 2 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center.
The ceremony, sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union, will feature guest speakers from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, City of Twentynine Palms, and local veterans. The National Anthem will be performed by Twentynine Palms High School teacher Robin Wilson, and food will be provided by local veteran-owned restaurant Grnd Sqrl.
The event starts at 2 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way.
