The Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians has a proposed land use binder for a gas station/convenience store on the northeast corner of Utah Trail and Highway 62. The business is one of three local properties that the tribe plans to add to their sovereign nation.
A copy of the proposal can be viewed at the Twentynine Palms Visitors Center and Chamber Of Commerce, or online at https://www.29palmstribe.org/economic-development.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs released the Environmental Assessment last month. The public comment period for the Environmental Assessment began on December 20, 2018 and ends on January 17, 2019.
