TWENTYNINE PALMS TRANSIENT ACCUSED OF THREATENING TO ROB A BANK

A Twentynine Palms transient man was arrested Thursday after he threatened to rob a local bank. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to the Pacific Premier Bank in the 73700 block of Gorgonio Dr. in Twentynine palms for a report of criminal threats. Bank employees told deputies that a man, later identified as Bradley Risner-Smith 24 of Twentynine Palms was banging on the windows of the bank and puling on the bank’s locked doors. He told an employee that he was an ex felon and bank robber and that their bank was next on his list. Arriving deputies located Risner-Smith at the bank. Bradley Risner-Smith was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
