TWENTYNINE PALMS TRACK TEAM TAKES SEVENTH

Twentynine Palms High School track and field traveled to San Gorgonio High School to compete in the Sparta Relays on Saturday.  Coach Ronda Lockett-Morton said the boys, led by seniors Jonathan Carson,  Brandon Benton, and Adam Mapuatuli, took seventh place out of a loaded field. 

The girls, led by Shania Newby and Mya Bullion, were 11th.  The team earned 17 total medals including three gold and two silver.  

Sophomores Mariah Banerjee and Alex Burns were named Wildcats of the Week.
