The regular meeting of the Twentynine Palms Tourism Business Improvement District Scheduled for Thursday, November 9, will not be held.
The next regular meeting of the TBID is, per the City of Twentynine Palms, “to be determined at a later date.” This cancellation comes during a tumultuous time for the TBID. Initially defunded by the City Council in September, that decision was taken back by the council at a special meeting less than a week later.
The actions and structure of the TBID were considered at length by city officials and members of the community during an October 30 workshop.
