TWENTYNINE PALMS TO MATCH COUNTY COVID-19 COMPLIANCE GRANTS

Small businesses are struggling in the age of COVID-19, and San Bernardino County is offering financial support via the CARES Act. Now, the City of Twentynine Palms is stepping up to match those funds. Reporter Heather Clisby has details…

In response to the economic damage of COVID-19, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act, became real in March. The $2.2 trillion dollar relief package includes San Bernardino County’s COVID-Compliant Business Partner Program which offers $150,000 in grants to local businesses in compliance with state and county health orders.

The City of Twentynine Palms is now going to match that effort which would result in an additional $2,500 per business.

The application deadline for the COVID-Compliant Business Partner Program is October 31. Funding is first-come, first-served, so do not delay. For information, visit the county’s website.

To learn more about eligibility for the COVID-Compliant Business Partner Program, contact San Bernardino County directly through email at [email protected], or by phone at 909-387-3911.

If your business has already been approved in the County’s COVID-Compliant Business Partner Program, no additional applications will be required to secure this funding from the City of Twentynine Palms.

The only step with the city is completing a W-9 form to process a check:
