The question on the minds of many Morongo Basin residents is whether or not there will be a Fourth of July fireworks show. Yucca Valley has postponed its fireworks show until Labor Day weekend. In Twentynine Palms, the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center will host a fireworks show on Saturday, July 4, starting at 9 p.m. The show will feature high-altitude fireworks that will be visible on base and in Twentynine Palms, so that most residents can watch the display from the safety of their own homes. If you can see the sky over the base, you can see the fireworks show.
