The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ and girls’ varsity tennis teams traveled to Desert Hot Springs to face the Eagles on Friday (April 23). The Wildcat Boys beat the Eagles 8-1, while the Ladycats beat the Eagles 9-0.
In doubles action, the Wildcat boys double teams of Titus Bosch/Troy Silva and Hunter Branch/Daniel Hunyh won their doubles matches.
The Wildcats boys Nhan Nguyen, Jonray Mendoza, Daniel Huynh, Titus Bosch, Hunter Branch, and Troy Silva each won their singles match.
The Ladycat double teams of Mariah Banerjee/Madi Soster, Emily Stuckey/Isabel Plummer, and Anaid Montero/Makenna Whitfield each won their doubles match.
In singles action, Makenna Whitfield, Mariah Banerjee, Madi Soster, Anaid Montero, Natalie Plummer and Carly Bateman each won their singles game.
The Wildcats boys are now 9 and 1 and the Ladycats are now 9 and 1. The Wildcats travel to Desert Hot Springs on Friday.
