The popular summer movies in the park series continues in Twentynine Palms tonight. Reporter David Knutson says grab a lawn chair or blanket, the kids and head on over to Luckie Park for the free screening…
As part of the Twentynine Palms Recreation Department’s summer movies in Luckie Park, the movie being shown this Thursday is Max. Max is a German Shepherd war dog who goes to war with his handler, Kyle. After the loss of Kyle, the family adopts Max and an unlikely bond is made between the dog and the younger brother Justin. This movie is sure to touch the heart, so bring tissues. The movie will be projected on the north wall of the racquetball court in Luckie Park and will begin at around 8:30 p.m.
