City Manager Stone James announced last week that the long-awaited Strategic Planning Session will be held on Friday, April 4, at 5:00 p.m. inside the Town Council Chambers with a full workshop on Saturday, April 5, at 10:00 a.m. The Five-Year Strategic Plan process includes a set of facilitated discussions with the city leadership to identify a shared vision, values, objectives, and strategic directions for what the City will look like in twenty years.
City Manager Stone James said that “A tremendous amount of work was put into Friday’s presentation, which is intended help the community better understand what the various departments are doing, pursuant to Council direction, to elevate the community.”
Residents are encouraged to attend both to have a say in shaping the city’s future.
The planning sessions will take place at Twentynine Palms City Hall this Friday and Saturday (4/4 and 4/5).
