TWENTYNINE PALMS SOROPTIMISTS TO HOST OPENING NIGHT OF “SUNSHINE BOYS” AT THEATRE 29

The timeless classic Neil Simon comedy, “The Sunshine Boys,” revolves around a former comedic duo that, in their time, was the best of vaudeville. They’ve been feuding for years, but now are being asked to reunite for a TV special. Past grudges resurface and hilarity ensues. The Soroptimists are a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls. All proceeds will go towards Soroptimist scholarships and other local service projects. Tickets for opening night only are $25 per person and include heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages prior to show time. Desserts will be served during intermission. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. The doors open at 6 p.m. the curtain rises at 7 p.m. Opening night tickets are available at the Desert Trail and Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce in Twentynine Palms, In Joshua Tree at the Z107.7 studios, and from any 29 Palms Soroptimist member.
“The Sunshine Boys” will run Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. from January 15 to February 16, with 2:30 p.m. Sunday matinees on January 24 and February 7.
