Soroptimist International of Twentynine Palms is actively seeking applicants for their 2014 “Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women.” This program is open to any woman who has a financial need, is her family’s primary breadwinner, and is enrolled or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. The application deadline is November 15 and is available through the link below or by calling 760-333-8995. The Twentynine Palms club will provide a $500 cash grant to its award recipient, who will then advance to the Soroptimist Golden West Region level, where recipients could receive up to an additional $5,000. The program culminates with three finalist $10,000 awards.
