Extreme temperatures are coming this weekend, and the City of Twentynine Palms announced yesterday that they are opening up the city’ Senior Center as a cooling center for residents of all ages.
The Twentynine Palms Senior Center will be operating as a cooling center on Friday (July 5), Saturday (July 6), and Sunday (July 7) from 12 noon to 5 p.m. each day. Water will be available, but there will be no food service.
The City wants to remind everyone that pets are not allowed at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center. Only service animals are allowed to accompany human beings into the facility.
