TWENTYNINE PALMS SENIOR CENTER OPEN THIS WEEKEND AS COOLING CENTER

Due to excessive heat warnings in the Morongo basin, the Twentynine Palms Senior Center, 6539 Adobe Road, will be open to area residents as a cooling center on Saturday (July 10) and Sunday July (11) from noon to 6 p.m. The center will remain open for extended hours if the heat index remains at 115 degrees or higher. All attendees will be required to wear masks at all times when in the cooling center. Water will be available however there is no food service. Pets are not allowed inside the building.
