“Little Shop of Horrors” will open at Theatre 29 Friday, October 4, with a gala fundraiser. The doors will open at 6 p.m. with show themed refreshments served. The 29 Palms Rotarians will take pre-show bids for a fully stocked silent auction spread. The curtain will rise at 7 p.m. and deserts will be served at intermission. “Little Shop of Horrors” is set in a little failing flower shop in New York City where a mutant, flesh-eating plant is discovered. Directed by Gary Daigneault with musical direction by Scott Clinkscales and choreography by Lisa Goldberg. The cast includes veteran favorites as well as talented newcomers to the Theatre 29 stage. Opening night tickets only are $25 and are available from any Twentynine Palms Rotarian or at the Z1077 studios in Joshua Tree.
