TWENTYNINE PALMS ROTARY SPONSORING COLLECTION OF ELECTRONIC WASTE AND JUNKER CARS

Did you get a new TV or computer for Christmas and are wondering how to dispose of those now unused or old electronics? The Twentynine Palms Rotary Club can help you get rid of them safely. As of December 26, you can drop off—for free—your televisions; computers, laptops, and computer components; fax machines, copiers, or printers and their ink cartridges and toners; video game consoles; cameras; VCR and DVD players, cell phones and telephone equipment; and mp3 players at Cardinal Van and Storage. Cardinal Van and Storage is located at 73873 Callie Todd, just off Adobe Road. For more information, call Randy Councell at 760-367-7562 extension 105.

In addition, if you have an old junker car sitting in your yard, the Twentynine Palms Rotary can help you get rid of that, too. The Rotary Club will tow it away for you at no charge. The vehicle does not need to be operable, but easy access is required. All proceeds will go toward Rotary community projects. For towing, call Advantage Towing at 760-217-5092.
