For the first time in its 71-year history, Twentynine Palms Rotary was named “The Best Club of 2018-19,” in the small clubs category, out of 62 clubs in two Counties.
Outgoing President Gary Daigneault was named “Best Club President,” in the small clubs category, in Rotary District 5330.
The club was also recognized at the Conference for a 25 percent increase in its membership and for its contributions to the Rotary Foundation. The club’s numerous community service projects for the year included hosting the national Solar Challenge, participating in the Point-in-Time homeless count, and hosting the inaugural Battle of the Ball basketball competition.
