If you’re planning on going to Joshua Tree National Park through the Twentynine Palms entrance today (Thursday, March 9), you better make other plans. The city of Twentynine Palms is paving Utah Trail from 29 Palms Highway to the park’s entrance gate today, and the road will be closed until 4 p.m. Residents should use alternate routes.
