The Twentynine Palms Parks and Recreation will begin accepting registrations for its annual summer day camp program. Priority registrations for children of first responders and health care providers will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 12 through Thursday, June 18. Registrations for the general public will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19 through Thursday, July 3. Interested parties must call 760-367-7562 extension 1021 during the pre-determined registration days and times for each group. The program has been modified to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. The program will run for seven weeks throughout the summer. Hours of the camp are 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, July 6 and concluding Friday, August 21. The program is available for children who will be entering first through fifth grades in the fall.
