The Twentynine Palms postal carriers will hold their annual Christmas canned food drive Saturday, December 7. Twentynine Palms residents should put non-perishable canned food items in their mailbox and the postal carriers will pick them up and deliver them to the Twentynine Palms Food Pantry.
The Twentynine Palms food pantry is located at 6450 Stardune Ave, and provides emergency food to the residents of Twentynine Palms, Wonder Valley and the Marine Corps Base. The food pantry is open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., the first Saturday of the month from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and the second and fourth Wednesdays, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
