The swimming pool at Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms will open Saturday, May 26, for weekends through June 3. It will then be open every day from June 9 through August 19, and weekends August 25-26, as well as September 1-3. Pool hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $3; $1.50 for seniors 55 and older, or $35 for a 20-entry pass. Lap swim starts June 11 through August 17, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $1.50, or a season pass for $30. Passes can be purchased at the pool or at the Twentynine Palms Recreation Department.
