Following the introduction of new Development Director Jim Hamilton at the July 15 meeting of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission, the Commission will consider amending the Development Code to treat ambulance services as an allowable use in commercial zones, per a request from Morongo Basin Ambulance. Following that will be a study/workshop session, to go through the 9-page draft ordinance intended to regulate the operation of vacation home rentals. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
