This evening, the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will meet to review and discuss the proposed site plan and architectural design for the expansion of Theatre 29 on the southwest corner of Sullivan and Adobe roads. The Commission will provide feedback and likely approve the plans.
The theater sits on a 17.7-acre parcel and is owned by the city in a public zone. The property is leased to Theatre 29 and has been in operation for 20 years. Expansion plans include adding a 3100-square foot addition to the west side, increased seating and expanding stage capabilities.
The meeting takes place at City Hall on Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms and begins at 5 pm.
