Out of an abundance of caution and concern around a surge of COVID-19 cases in the state, tonight’s Twentynine Palms Planning Commission meeting will be closed to public but still available for livestreaming through the city’s website, 29palms.org.

The meeting has just one agenda item—to discuss the application for a conditional use permit for Rasta Rita Cantina and venue located at 73662 Homestead Drive in downtown Twentynine Palms. The permit is for the addition of alcohol sales at the location.

Those wishing to participate in the meeting must pre-register using the link in this story. The meeting begins at 5 p.m.
