Tonight, the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission gathers to discuss a conditional use permit for the First Assembly of God Church. The house of worship, located at 73331 Sullivan Road, submitted an application for the permit back in early October.

The church would like to construct a 6,500-square foot worship hall in addition to adding landscaping, parking and street improvements along Bullion Avenue. The church’s existing worship hall will be used specifically for children’s Bible study after the larger worship hall is constructed.

The public meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road. The meeting can also be livestreamed from the City’s site, 29palms.org, and available on demand post-meeting.
