The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission has three topics on its March 3 meeting agenda. Reporter Dan Stork lists them…
An addition to the City Development Code of procedures for dealing with the California Environmental Quality Act will be the topic of a public hearing at the meeting of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission. There will also a discussion on a time extension request for a restaurant site plan review. This is a project at 72003 Twentynine Palms Highway that has been hanging fire since April 2011. The property owner recently informed the city that he has formed a business relationship with the owner of John’s Place in Yucca Valley, and intends to “bring John’s Place to Twentynine Palms.” A final discussion will be about responsibilities of the Commission and election of officers. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in City Hall on Adobe Road.
