TWENTYNINE PALMS PLANNING COMMISSION MEETS: VACATION RENTAL AND A LIQUOR LICENSE

Adding alcohol sales at a local restaurant and approving a vacation rental leads the agenda at tonight’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission. Reporter Rebecca Havely has the details…

At tonight’s meeting, the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will consider a conditional use permit allowing the Kitchen in the Desert restaurant at 6427 Mesquite Avenue to add the sale of alcohol. The commission will also be asked to deny an appeal and move forward with approval of a vacation home rental at 6634 Quail Spring Avenue.

Finally, the commission is asked to provide feedback to staff regarding proposed code changes to transient selling, peddling, soliciting, sidewalk vending, and mobile food truck vending. Tonight’s meeting will take place at 5 p.m. at Twentynine Palms’ City Hall 6136 Adobe Road.
