The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission held its regular meeting last night. Reporter Cassidy Zimarik has the recap…
Last night the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission approved a development code amendment for trash enclosure standards. The amendment updates city standards and requirements to comply with state regulations for organics recycling. The requirement for trash enclosures applies to new commercial and industrial projects as well as new multi-family projects of five or more units.
In addition, the planning commission received an update for Project Phoenix and discussed future action items in order to speed up the construction of an O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on the corner of Highway 62 and Larrea Avenue.
