Tonight, February 15, members of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will gather to review and discuss a draft of the Downtown Specific Plan, a guide for developing the city’s downtown over a 20-to-25-year period.
The plan includes goals, policies and concrete actions applicable to economic development, employment, land use and zoning, housing, landscaping, open space, transportation and mobility, and parking.
The public meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road. The meeting can also be live-streamed through the city’s website, 29palms.org.
