TWENTYNINE PALMS PLANNING COMMISSION LOOKS AT A CONTROVERSIAL VACATION RENTAL

The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will discuss a vacation home rental at its regular meeting tonight. The proposed rental, at 72935 Siesta Drive, is a four-bedroom, 1600-square foot house on four-tenths of an acre. Neighbors believe the house will attract large crowds and will create a noise problem, and are asking the planning commission to deny the application for a vacation home rental. Commissioners will also hold a work-study session on accessory dwelling units. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. in City Hall on Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms.
