Last night the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission had a meeting in response to a vacation home rental permit concerning a damaged vacation home rental. Reporter Keith Bailey has the details on that meeting…
At last evening’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission, the commission denied the approval of the VHR permit for the property at 72109 Sullivan Road. James Twomey, who had appealed the pending permit, was told by the council that the appeal was not necessary because once the structural damage had occurred the permit could not be approved. And once the repairs to the damaged home were complete, the VHR permit process will proceed. In other business, the commission elected Greg Mendoza as chair and Leslie Paahana as the new vice chair.
