The Twentynine Palms Park and Rec Department will offer summer and basketball and soccer camps. The basketball camp is for boys and girls aged 8 to 14. The camp runs from June 16 to June 20, from 9:30 to 2 each day at the Twentynine Palms High School gym. Registrations will be taken Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 at the Park and Rec office until June 13, or online at 29palms.org through June 15. The registration fee includes a camp basketball T-shirt, prizes for contests, and a pizza party on the final day.
The youth soccer camps will be offered for girls and boys aged 4 through 15, with the camps broken down by age groups: 4 to 6 years; 7 to 10 years; and 11 to 15 years. Camps will run June 23 through June 27 in Luckie Park from 8 to 9:30 for children 4 to 6 years old; and from 7 to 11 a.m. for ages 7 to 15. Registrations will be taken Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Rec office through June 20, or online at 29palms.org through June 22. Registration includes a camp T-shirt.
