TWENTYNINE PALMS NATIVE DEVELOPS DOWNTOWN TREAT ATTRACTIONS

Soon, downtown Twentynine Palms will boast several new treat shops under one roof—everything from ice cream to chocolate to smoothies. Reporter Heather Clisby has the details…

Within a few weeks, Twentynine Palms will add three new businesses to their downtown and, anybody with a sweet tooth should be pleased. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Cold Stone Creamery, and Surf City Squeeze will open alongside the re-opened 29 Souvenir & Gifts, all located at 6485 Adobe Road.

Co-owner Erick Turner, a native of Twentynine Palms, says the stores will open their doors to customers late this month or early November. Turner explained that he and his partners noted the decline of malls but the persistent popularity of food courts. The singular building housing the four businesses together are designed on the food court concept and they will be open seven days a week.
