Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a Twentynine Palms man wanted in connection with a reported burglary. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to the 3400 block of Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms on July 3 at approximately 9 a.m. for a report of a burglary. During their investigation, Deputies learned that some of the reportedly stolen items were being held at a neighboring residence. A search warrant for the neighboring home was served and Deputies recovered many of the stolen item at the residence. The resident of the home, Martin Gregory Preston, 58, of Twentynine Palms fled the scene shortly before Deputies arrived, and is currently sought by the Sheriff’s Department.
