A 64-year-old Twentynine Palms man really wanted to go gambling, Wednesday. Brian Hoffmann drove to Tortoise Rock Casino on Baseline Road about 2:30 p.m. and when he found the casino was closed, he started yelling and cussing at the security guards and drove his vehicle through the gates that blocked the entrance. Deputies found Hoffman a block or so away around the corner near Adobe Road and Serrano Drive. Brian Hoffman was arrested for investigation of destruction of property, vandalism, and trespassing, cited, and released.
