A Twentynine Palms man who is accused of fleeing from deputies in February was arrested following a routine traffic stop Tuesday. February 2, a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on Christopher Kudebeh, 37, who was riding a dirt bike without a rear license plate on Valley View Street in Joshua Tree. When the deputy attempted to stop Kudebeh, he fled and a pursuit ensued, with Kudebeh violating several traffic laws. Deputies lost him at Border and Two Mile Road in north Joshua Tree. On Tuesday, a deputy stopped a vehicle for not having tail lights. Kudebeh was a passenger in the vehicle, and the deputy determined that he had an arrest warrant for pursuit from February. Christopher Kudebeh was arrested for his warrant for felony failure to yield, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $200,000. The female driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and on two drug-related warrants.
