A prominent Twentynine Palms man was killed in a tragic hit and run Friday night (1/5).
According to the San Bernardino County Coroner, Christopher Plummer, 55, sustained fatal injuries after he was hit by an unknown vehicle while walking on Amboy Road, near Roundup, the evening of January 5th.
The vehicle fled the scene.
Plummer was very active in community service in the Twentynine Palms area for many years. He leaves his wife, Meredith, and two daughters.
The Sheriff’s Department had no additional information, and an investigation is ongoing. Z107.7 will update this story as more information becomes available.
