TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN HELD FOR WARRANTS AND RESISTING ARREST

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday afternoon, accused of resisting arrest after deputies responded to a report of suspected illegal drug sales. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6600 block of Cholla Avenue about 3 p.m. when neighbors reported suspected drug sales at a residence. Deputies saw a man, later identified as Eric Gordon, 24, run into the home. Deputies confirmed that Gordon had a $100,000 warrant for his arrest for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Gordon was then spotted running from the location into the desert. Deputies caught Gordon and arrested him for investigation of resisting arrest and for his warrant. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $110,000.
