A Twentynine Palms man was arrested early Saturday morning after he hit his wife during an argument. According to a Sheriff’s report, Maxwell Gomez, 23, of the 5900 block of Aztec Avenue, was arguing with his wife when he started pushing her. He then hit her in the face, causing multiple cuts to her face. Maxwell Gomez was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
