A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday, accused of carrying a concealed weapon and drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a vehicle near Sunnyvale Drive and Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms about 10:30 p.m. Inside the vehicle was Phillip Delacruz, 38. The deputy discovered a large fixed-blade kitchen knife concealed on his person, along with methamphetamine. Phillip Delacruz was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
