A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday after he was found with stolen items. Just before 5 p.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Aaron Jones, 28, in the 72500 block of Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy located several items believed to have been stolen, along with identification of a victim. The deputy contacted the victim who said she did not know Jones and he did not have permission to have her property. The deputy went to the victim’s home and discovered it had been burglarized with evidence at the scene linking Jones to the burglary. Aaron Jones was arrested for investigation of burglary and possession of stolen property, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
