A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday after he was found in a pick-up truck that had been stolen in Los Angeles. Deputies responding to a welfare check at the Family Dollar in Twentynine Palms about 1:30 p.m. Saturday found Naim Sharrieff, 45, in a new 2019 Toyota Tundra. Deputies discovered during a records check that the truck had been stolen from a dealership in Los Angeles. Naim Sharrieff was arrested for investigation of being in possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
