A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Friday, after his girlfriend said he broke all the windows in the car while she was in it. According to a Sheriff’s report, Miguel Gonzalez, 31, was arguing with his girlfriend in the 6100 block of Cahuilla Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 3:30 p.m. Friday. His girlfriend told deputies that he took her keys to keep her from leaving, at which time she then grabbed the keys to his car. Gonzalez followed her outside and threw a rock through the passenger side window. The window shattered, and the woman was cut by the flying glass. As she was backing out of the driveway, she said Gonzalez threw his phone at the windshield, shattering the windshield. Miguel Gonzalez was arrested for investigation of assault with a weapon, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
