TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE WARRANTS FOLLOWING A TRAFFIC STOP

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Monday (June 21) accused of burglary following a traffic stop. According to Sheriff’s reports, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Ocotillo Ave & Sunnyslope Dr. in Twentynine Palms around 9 p.m. During the stop, the driver Aaron Jones, 30, was found to have an active felony warrant. Aaron Jones was arrested for investigation of felony burglary and on $200,000 in Sheriff’s warrants for hit-and-run, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a counterfeit check or money order. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
