A convicted felon was arrested in Twentynine Palms for investigation into domestic violence and drug possession.
On Tuesday afternoon (September 4) just before 5 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies contacted Joseph Lampkin, Jr, 42 in the 12000 block of Sunnyvale Drive in Twentynine Palms. During their investigation deputies determined that Lampkin had seriously injured a spouse, cohabitant or date, and that he was also in possession of a suspected controlled substance.
Joseph Lampkin, Jr. was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on spouse or cohabitant and possession of a controlled substance, and booked into the West Valley Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
Lampkin pled guilty to felony charges of robbery and kidnapping in 2013.
