A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday night, accused of hitting his girlfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman called a friend about 9:45 Thursday night to report her boyfriend had hit her. After an investigation, Morries Sowell, 23, was arrested for felony spouse abuse. Morries Sowell was booked in the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $55,000.
