A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday following a pursuit. About 1 a.m., a deputy tried to stop a stolen vehicle near Wilshire and Sullivan in Twentynine Palms, but the driver, later identified as Lawrence Chandler, 18, fled. Lawrence Chandler was later stopped and arrested for investigation of vehicle theft and felony failure to yield, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
