TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ARRESTED AFTER PURSUIT ON A STOLEN DIRT BIKE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested last week following a pursuit on a stolen dirt bike. About 11:15 a.m. Thursday, a deputy attempted to stop Christian McBee, 23, who was riding a dirt bike without any license plate near Cactus Drive and Tamarisk Avenue in Twentynine Palms. McBee failed to yield and led the deputy on a pursuit, but he was apprehended when the dirt bike stalled. A records check found that the dirt bike had been stolen. Christian McBee was arrested for investigation of being in possession of stolen property and felony failure to yield, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
