We have limited information about a Twentynine Palms man who was arrested Saturday, accused of causing serious injuries to someone when he beat them up. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6100 block of Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 2:30 p.m. for a report of two men arguing. A witness said one man, later identified as, John Griesbach, 40, was hitting another man with a crowbar, and the victim was bleeding from his head. After an investigation, John Griesbach was arrested on suspicion of battery causing serious bodily injury, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
